About...

I am a Licensed Certified Professional Midwife. I have an Associates of Liberal Arts, a Bachelor's of Science in Family Social Services, as well as an Associates of Midwifery from the National College of Midwifery, in Taos, New Mexico. During my time as a student midwife, I apprenticed in five different states, with six unique and knowledgeable out-of-hospital midwives.

There is no doubt that birth is a key life event that is very powerful, yet at the same time, informed and gentle. Birth is a natural, normal, physiological life event. I believe that every woman should have the opportunity to access the highest quality healthcare which includes empowering them to make decisions about their care. Part of my responsibility as a midwife and doula is to give each client personalized attention and to provide the most up-to-date and evidence-based information and healthcare to her during the time in my care.
